Look forward to A Brand New SOCIAL NETWORK: GOOGLE +

Google has finally unveiled Google+, the company’s top secret social layer that turns all of the search engine into one giant social network.
Facebook is huge today and it seemed pretty invincible till the near past. But not any more. It seems Google is all set to topple the proverbial apple cart!
Google+, which begins rolling out a very limited field test on Tuesday, is the culmination of a year-long project led by Vic Gundotra, Google’s senior vice president of social. The project, which has been delayed several times, constitutes Google’s answer to Facebook.
The search giant’s new social project will be omnipresent on its products, thanks to a complete redesign of the navigation bar. The familiar gray strip at the top of every Google page will turn black, and come with several new options for accessing your Google+ profile, viewing notifications and instantly sharing content. The notification system is similar to how Facebook handles notifications, complete with a red number that increases with each additional notice.

The more social networking site popping up, the better for my new gig, awesomize.me :-) Social media is here to stay for good. Given vast variety of the existing channels to choose and stick with, it’s time for such a hot space to enter into a new category.

Here is my 2cents on this whole internet -> search Engine -> Social media things and my rational on why there is a need for a portal to provide a quick and intelligent decision for both the consumer and the companies about their online connections. A Platform to Help us to Distinguish Our Quality vs. Quantity Friends, Fans, Followers, and Companies:

- Early 90s: WWW was born…
- Mid - late 90s: Yahoo & Google were born to help us to find the right pages on the WWW…
- Early 2000: Social media was born…
- Late 2000: There are now millions of pages created by people, companies, and organizations on all these social media channels.
- 2011: We are back to early 90’s

That is why I built awesomize.me to accomplish such a mission - the portal to all your existing social media channels.
